The Imperial War Museums are committed to collecting and displaying materials which tell the stories of those who experienced British conflict from 1914. With five sites around the country, IWM London re-opens on Saturday 19th July following a £35 million transformation. This video, produced by Aardman Animations, celebrates the new First World War Galleries which opens at the London site to commemorate the centenary of the First World War.
The unique collections found within the IWM include letters, objects, clothing and artwork. We are delighted to offer, in association with the Imperial War Museums, a collection of commissioned art and propaganda posters from the First and Second World Wars as framed wall art.
Gives the frame its character and provides the perfect setting for an artwork to be fully enjoyed.
Protects the artwork from dust and wilting so that it can be admired for many years.
Adds depth to an image and works with the moulding to enhance and protect the artwork.
Bonds to the artwork ensuring it is perfectly smooth and holds the whole frame together.
The artwork is carefully mounted in preparation for framing.
