Over 10 days ago, we challenged the public to get creative and send us their best shots of Art Everywhere posters. We wanted to find something a little bit special, a photograph which made us take a second glance, gaze in wonder, surprised us or even made us laugh.
With a £600 Leica D-Lux 6 camera and daily art prizes including hand-framed prints from Easyart, Cass Art vouchers and Art Passes up for grabs, creative entries are flying in. We’ve seen images transformed with filters, photos layered together and collages of different Art Everywhere posters. Here are some of our favourites so far.
These photos truly celebrate the idea of finding art in unusual places. Our panel of judges is headed up by Richard Reed – co-founder of Innocent Drinks and the brains behind Art Everywhere – and includes Easyart’s Managing Director Marc Lickfett and Head of Publishing, Sian Rees. Whether it’s the candid reaction of a passerby, a delicate painting in harsh surroundings or an eerie shot in the dead of the night, our judges are looking for a photo which tells a story.
The competition closes at midnight on Sunday 25th August, and you can enter as many times as you like so if you think you can do better, head out onto the streets and get snapping.
Twitter and Instagram users can send photos to @easyartUK using #arteverywherecomp or upload images HERE.
