Colour Monday is back! Today’s colour combo sounds like the start to a great cocktail – I may have to experiment with that and get back to you. In the meantime, I’ve put together this board with soft pink and green hues that I think sit beautifully together. What I like most about the rooms I’ve chosen is that they aren’t all pastels. There are darker tones mixed in that go a long way to add some flavour. Pastels are relaxing and subtle, but one should be careful not to overpower a room with any one idea.
Also worth noting is that print #1 above is by contemporary photographer, Robert Cadloff. Cadloff is an award-winning photographer working with film and restored cameras to create colourful and fun imagery. The subjects and saturation of his photography is so inviting!
Gives the frame its character and provides the perfect setting for an artwork to be fully enjoyed.
Protects the artwork from dust and wilting so that it can be admired for many years.
Adds depth to an image and works with the moulding to enhance and protect the artwork.
Bonds to the artwork ensuring it is perfectly smooth and holds the whole frame together.
The artwork is carefully mounted in preparation for framing.
