There are some imaginative designers out there! I love to see classic artworks incorporated into modern design. It’s something that I personally don’t have an eye for doing, but I enjoy seeing done well.
This lovely (stone?) side table holds a classic seascape in a traditional gold frame. The accessories around it are so modern, so the effect is a really successful contrast between new and old, and light and dark. Genius.
