I love Scandinavian style. I’d like to state that right now at the beginning of this post. I love it. I pulled some examples of today’s emerging trend from a Swedish blog because they’re super chic, but this style is not specific to those trying to get the Scandinavian black and white look.
The trend is simple: black and white stripes. I think this must be coming off the back of the huge chevron trend because I’ve noticed it creeping in over the last year mixed in with chevron looks. It’s graphic, it’s simple and it can be incorporated into any colour scheme. How in the world can I use this with art, you ask? Like this:
Gives the frame its character and provides the perfect setting for an artwork to be fully enjoyed.
Protects the artwork from dust and wilting so that it can be admired for many years.
Adds depth to an image and works with the moulding to enhance and protect the artwork.
Bonds to the artwork ensuring it is perfectly smooth and holds the whole frame together.
The artwork is carefully mounted in preparation for framing.
