I hope you all had a lovely bank holiday weekend and feel refreshed! I’m back with more art inspiration for you and today it comes in the form of Joan Miro. Miro was a Spanish artist working mainly in abstract and surrealist styles.
I really enjoy the colour blocking in this room and the bold palette. The blue wall is absolutely gorgeous, especially with the hot pink contrast of the table. The choice to go with a black mount for the artwork is an unusual one, but I’d say it works really well in this instance. The Miro painting is essential for tying this colourful look together. Here are a couple more pieces by Miro that you may enjoy!
Gives the frame its character and provides the perfect setting for an artwork to be fully enjoyed.
Protects the artwork from dust and wilting so that it can be admired for many years.
Adds depth to an image and works with the moulding to enhance and protect the artwork.
Bonds to the artwork ensuring it is perfectly smooth and holds the whole frame together.
The artwork is carefully mounted in preparation for framing.
