I love to scroll through Pinterest and see all of the great things everyone is pinning. I find a lot of inspiring images on there and occasionally get reminded of things that I forgot I love! Today’s rediscovery is Helen Frankenthaler.
Frankenthaler was an American abstract expressionist and her colourful works are a decorator’s dream. It’s no secret from reading this blog that I love colour– art is the perfect way to inject colour in a room and it doesn’t have to obey the rules of your décor scheme. With pictures, you can choose to match them to your accent colours, but abstract prints allow you to branch out and throw in new colours if you wish.
Why not go a little colour crazy?
Gives the frame its character and provides the perfect setting for an artwork to be fully enjoyed.
Protects the artwork from dust and wilting so that it can be admired for many years.
Adds depth to an image and works with the moulding to enhance and protect the artwork.
Bonds to the artwork ensuring it is perfectly smooth and holds the whole frame together.
The artwork is carefully mounted in preparation for framing.
