Pop Art: A Decorator’s Best Friend

General, Inspiration

In Pop Art a designer/decorator can find a true friend because there is so much of it and it covers such a broad range of subjects. I’ve been amazed by the beautiful prints I’ve come across that make amazing decorative additions to rooms.

Particularly, I’m impressed with the breadth of Andy Warhol‘s work. I’ve mentioned him a few times on this blog, but it can’t be helped because his prints work so well! The key to finding the perfect print is to see past what’s in front of you and visualise the work in your home, framed and on the wall. Pop art goes a long way to add energy to a room. Be brave and really try to see the potential in the piece and you may be surprised at how well you’ve chosen!
