Hello everyone, Kate from The Forgetful Wife blog here! Growing up in the U.S. and being a girl, I am naturally enamoured with everything Parisian. Ever since my first trip to the City of Light I’ve been smitten with the rich history, stunning architecture and sheer elegance of the city. I still dream about the first moment I bit into a Laduree macaron, picnicking on the lush lawns of Champs de Mars, gazing at the Tour de Eiffel while sipping on white wine and feasting on the best cheese I’ve ever tasted. I’m not even going to begin talking about the shopping situation. But most of all, I enjoyed the people watching, or to be more specific, style watching. Parisian women embody a classic aesthetic that seems completely effortless. The images I picked out for my collection instantly took me back to the sidewalk cafes and winding, cobblestone streets of my favorite city, inhabited by some of the the most fabulous women in the world.
