It’s amazing what the forest photo pictured above does for this room. Green is generally regarded as a calming colour and I find that a large photo like this in the home functions as a visual retreat for the eye. Continuing along this theme, I liked the idea of incorporating other forest themes in a room, like the playful deer print, below. If you want to carry this look throughout your room, look to rich greens and dark woods as accent colours.
