If you take away the three paintings on the right wall, this room is a contemporary, but conservative living room. There are nice pops of yellow and orange with the cushions, but for the most part, the décor is fairly subdued. What takes this room up a notch for me is the triptych of canvases on the wall. The colour swatches are simple, but very effective and giving this room a playful edge. They remind me of the geometric works of artist Ron Bleier, who’s designs I have enjoyed for quite a while.
