Pieces from the Celine Pre-Fall 2012 Collection via fashionologie
Two of my favourite things are art and fashion, and I love when the two collide. I was recently looking at a few paintings from Barnett Newman because his birthday is coming up at the end of the month, so his work was fresh in my mind when I came across the very chic Pre-Fall 2012 collection from Céline. The colour palette and bold stripes of the Céline collection remind me a great deal of abstract works of Newman, and I feel really inspired to share the two side-by-side. What do you think? Do you think the collection could have been inspired by Barnett Newman?
