About the art print
From an acrylic on canvas painting of a black Dexter cow having a snack on some heather and grass while enjoying the fresh summer air whilst taking in the view of Tors and distant Devon hills from Dartmoor, United Kingdom. Painted using Atelier interactive acrylics which allow the paint to be readily blended and uses a combination of techniques including glazing and scumbling for the distant hills, impressionism for the ferns, heather and gorse in the mid ground and gestural brush strokes for the painting of the bovine beauty.

The Giclée process ensures a stunning reproduction of any image style, from photography to watercolour. Unlike normal printing, which is made up of loads of small dots, the Giclée printing process achieves almost continuous colour, due to the unique way the ink spreads on the paper.
Talking of inks, we use only pigment based ones. Some other suppliers use inferior dye based inks. These are cheaper, but do not have anywhere near the same resistance to fading. In normal lighting conditions, an Easyart Giclée print should remain lightfast for a minimum of 25 years.
