Simon was born in Cambridgeshire and works from his studio in the beautiful town of Saffron Walden, working for clients such as The New York Times, Nike and Google. Simon is a self-taught designer and artist who studied Applied Mathematics at Queen Mary University, London.
Simons work, with its formulas, keys, instructive text and almost scientific use of colour and pattern, hints at this mathematical background. There is a sense that he is creating order from all these elements, until a clean and well-balanced design is achieved.
With a passion for minimalism, combined with a love of typography, geometry, science fiction and exciting use of colour, Simon creates graphic work that is visually arresting and ideally suited to contemporary settings.
Always aiming to stimulate emotions in the viewer, Simon has a motto and philosophy of good design excites which he follows when creating new work.
