Scottish artist Lesley Birch's paintings are distinctive for their colour and atmosphere. She has exhibited in The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2013 and Cork Street Open 2012 . Lesley was born in Glasgow, Scotland to an architect father and artistic mother. She gained an M.A. in English Literature in the 1980s, going on to tour as keyboards player for chart-topping band Hue and Cry. She currently works from her studio in York, UK.
