Beverlie Manson was born and brought up in Manchester and was aware of her wish to pursue an artistic career from the tender age of 5.
Describing herself now as an illustrator specialising in the depiction of children and fairies, Beverlie Manson's sensitive and whimsical artwork is usually completed either in pencil or in watercolour. A member of the Chartered Society of Designers, she has received awards in the past for her creations and has illustrated numerous children's books, including "I Only Have to Close My Eyes" by Kenneth Williams. She has also created five of her own wallpaper books and fabric designs.
She now lives and works in a very fashionable part of London, based in a Victorian loft in a building that was once owned by the British Museum. Away from the easel, her hobbies include reading, walking and modern music.
