The Easyart group is the most prominent publisher, printer, wholesaler and retailer of art prints in the UK. Through our brand King & McGaw we supply beautiful art prints, posters and art cards to all major UK museums such as the Tate and National Gallery. We supply most major and numerous independent retailers with art product and have exclusive direct relationships with major classic artists such as Picasso as well as hundreds of young and aspiring artists. Easyart.com is the largest UK art print online shop with more than 20,000 customers browsing our 100,000 prints every day.
We are working hard to get more people to explore and buy beautiful art. There are many artists that need discovering, walls that need decorating and trends that need creating. We have the network, contacts and manufacturing platform in place and now need people to help us develop it and realise its full potential.
Our technology and marketing team are based on Leather Lane in London, our workshop, customer service and administration is based in Sussex on the South Coast.

Ruby Engineer
We're looking for a talented and passionate Ruby Engineer to join as a key member in our growing technology team in London.
You'll be working on our ambitious Ruby/Rails platform which is at the heart of the company's plans for future growth. You'll be responsible for core development, new features, integration with third-party services, as well as having a say in architecture, technologies and the future direction of the platform.

Key responsibilities
- Take pride in writing robust, elegant, test-driven Ruby code
- Ensure the platform is fast and reliable
- Continually improve the platform, search index and consuming applications
- Have your finger on the pulse of the latest technologies, and have a passion for the web
- Integrate the API with third-party services
Bonus points
- Defeating the office foosball champion
- Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs
- Experience with agile and test-driven development
- Experience with SEO best practices and e-commerce
- Foreign languages (German, Swedish, French)
- Experience with MongoDB
- Experience with Heroku, EngineYard and AWS (S3, EC2 etc)
- A strong, clean design aesthetic
- Experience with new technologies like Coffeescript, Backbone.js, Node.js
- Experience with Solr, IndexTank or another search indexer
- An active Github profile
