This photo was taken in the Forest of Dean in spring 2011. You know the feeling, it's spring but you still don't see much sign of it...then.....on a drive through the forest we stumbled across this amazing sight, carpets of bluebells are far as you could see into the forest. To capture that feeling I have exaggerated the greens and hues, this I feel captures the essence of when you see the first spring time flowers following a bitterly cold winter. An overdose for the senses, a visual springtime feast.
