About this print

Original painting depicting the Tiger tank numbered 114, and named Moritz, that was commanded by Unteroffizier Alfred Rubbel during Operation Citadel in July 1943. Rubbel was a member of 1st kompanie, schwere Panzer Abteilung 503 that was attached to the 6th Panzer Division during the last great German summer offensive on the Eastern Front. Rubbel survived the war and by the end had amassed a total of approximately 60 enemy tanks destroyed.
