This high quality print is based on a watercolour on board of a flower of Odontoglossum Armstrongii painted by the artist Nellie Roberts. This orchid was given a first class certificate by the Orchid Committee in October 1921 and was shown by 'Messrs Armstrong and Brown, Orchidhurst, Tunbridge Wells'. Roberts was appointed by the RHS in 1897 to paint Orchids and was awarded the VMM in 1953.
