This high quality print is based on a watercolour on board of a flower of Cypripedium × San de Derai superbum painted by the artist Nellie Roberts. This orchid was shown by Norman H. Cookson and given an award of merit by the Orchid Committee in November 1907. Roberts was appointed by the RHS in 1897 to paint Orchids and was awarded the VMM in 1953.
