Llys Helig is the ancient, welsh name for this part of coast line. It is the site of the ancient sunken palace of Llys Helig, where an evil prince used to rule according to legend. In modern terms, this is the view over Penmaenmawr Beach. This photograph was taken just after a rain shower in the late afternoon, giving it a very moody and tranquil feel.
