The mad ones have invented nukes, splinter bombs and GMO. The latter is particularly disturbing, because here they could worm their way into the very sanctuary of Creation, meddling with matters that took millions of years to develop, changing blatantly God's blueprint, and all this for the sole reason to enrich their scrupellous masters. Or, as shown in the painting, they crack the egg to see what it contains, but in doing so have killed its promise of life forever.
