This high quality print is based on a watercolour on paper by artist Lilian Snelling of Welsh Poppy (Meconopsis cambrica) painted in Lynmouth, Devon in July 1950. Snelling worked as an artist for the Edinburgh Botanic Gardens and for Curtis's Botanical magazine.
