When the children were fast asleep, Gyp the Dog opened the garden gate to greet his friends. One of the first to arrive was Albert Albatross who had flown in from the South Island of New Zealand. Betty Bouncy jumped for joy at seeing Fergus the Friesian who took off his black and white coat because he felt so warm waltzing with Lionel who came disguised as a leaf! Foxy danced with a rather spectacular and weird looking swan. Freddie Fencer took off his sword to do an Irish Jig and lots of fun was had by all.In the morning the children, who had been fast asleep all night, did not know anyone had been in the garden. Gyp the Dog slept all day because he was exhausted.
