This giclée print is printed on heavyweight (280gsm) archival, mould-made textured art paper which is particularly effective for the reproduction of watercolours.

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur photographic elit. Suspendisse eu mauris orci, eu euismod lorem.

Canvas print stretched and ready-to-hang. The print is stretched by hand over a 2 inch deep kiln dried wooden frame, complete with a solid panel in-fill, ensuring the frame will not warp and that the canvas remains taut.

Unstretched Canvases are send in sturdy cardboard tubes and therefore cheaper to send to over seas destinations than pre-stretched canvas prints. You will have to arrange for a wooden frame and the stretching of the print yourself.

About the art print

Meerkat......

Meerkats are primarily insectivores, but also eat lizards, snakes, scorpions, spiders, plants, eggs, small mammals, millipedes, centipedes and, more rarely, small birds.

They are partially immune to certain venoms; they are immune to the very strong venom of the scorpions of the Kalahari, unlike humans. They have no excess body fat stores, so foraging for food is a daily need.

Meerkats forage in a group with one sentry on guard watching for predators while the others search for food. Sentry duty is usually approximately an hour long.

Baby meerkats do not start foraging for food until they are about 1 month old, and do so by following an older member of the group who acts as the pup's tutor. The meerkat standing guard makes peeping sounds when all is well. If the meerkat spots danger, it barks loudly or whistles.

Canvas edge options

  • Mirrored edge

    Select this edge
    (standard)

With this option, we copy the outside 50mm from all round the image and then reverse it before printing on the edges. This is our most popular design choice and looks great with a wide-range of image styles.

  • White-edge

    Select this edge
    (no cost option)

For 'white-edge' we leave the edges unprinted, allowing the crisp white of the material to show through. This creates a great contemporary look and can make an artwork really stand out.

  • Coloured-edge

    Select this edge
    (no cost option)

In this option, we choose a colour for the edges that best complements the image. The coloured edge will help to offset the print against the wall and will be less prominent than a white edge.

What is a Giclée print?

Easyart Giclée prints (all prints available from this page) are custom printed in the UK, using state-of-the-art digital printing machines and high-quality media and inks.

The Giclée process ensures a stunning reproduction of any image style, from photography to watercolour. Unlike normal printing, which is made up of loads of small dots, the Giclée printing process achieves almost continuous colour, due to the unique way the ink spreads on the paper.

Talking of inks, we use only pigment based ones. Some other suppliers use inferior dye based inks. These are cheaper, but do not have anywhere near the same resistance to fading. In normal lighting conditions, an Easyart Giclée print should remain lightfast for a minimum of 25 years.
