This character sits upon a stone plinth in the gardens of Hever Castle in Kent,England near to where I spent my childhood. The castle is a local attraction, and I have visited it many times over the years. Its said that all the Roman artifacts in thegardens were brought to Hever by the Aster family, who bought the castle in the early 1900s.
