One of a series of seven works I painted inVancouver Canada for a show entitled:The Ocean, the Forest, and Whats BetweenThe idea was to respond in a creative way towhat it was like to be living in North Vancouver.This is an area of the city built along a thinstrip of habitable land located between the PacificOcean to the West, and the 5,000 foot NorthShore forested mountains to the East.Ocean Two is one of three paintings depictingthe ocean element, there are three worksdepicting the human, three depicting the forest,and one large painting which is a combinationof all three.
