While I painted at an outdoor art festival in Vancouver Canada, this iridescent dragonfly made an appearance. It rested on the stick just long enough for me to take a quick snap shot, then continued on its frantic dance. I had no idea just how detailed its wings were, until I studied this busy little insect.
