Bugambilia, also known as bougainvillea, this showy, evergreen, perennial originated in Brazil and is commonly found in tropical and subtropical regions. In Mexico its ubiquitous and I have often captured its elegant beauty on my canvases. This close up moves almost into the abstract, these shapes have often shown up in my truly abstract works.
