From an original acrylic painting of mother and child Jade & Ryan, the painting uses a limited pallet of 5 colours. I specifically made the painting dark & bold like this to make the figures stand out in a dark or dimly lit room. This also lends itself well to some of the modern interior styling & colours used today. The painting was completed in 2011.
