You can no longer stand on the pier at Strood as the walkway has been removed. Likewise the gasometers on the Rochester bank of the river have also gone. This I would think then is a bit of a historic picture based on some photographs I took in the late 70's to early 80's when I worked nearby. This is likely to be the last water side picture I am likely to upload here for some time. Look for something different by searching for my name!
