This scene was captured on a fairly inclement day in august from curbar edge in the Peak District National Park. This picture was taken in high winds and just before a downpour ensued. The scene shows the heathers in flower, looking out along one of the many paths that lie across the top of the edge, with dramatic views beyond. In the foreground lies one of the many abandoned millstones that can be found around the park.
