The scene presented here was captured at Kimmeridge Bay along the Dorset coastline, part of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. It depicts the natural stone causeway slowly being covered by a rising tide at dawn on a Summers morning. In the distance, the Clavell Tower can be seen on the headland, visited in times past by the likes of the novelist Thomas Hardy.
