About this print

Part of the Bauhaus: 90 Years / 90 Days project poster series commemorating the 90th Anniversary of the Bauhaus Movement. The poet Alice Shapiro has written a poem called The Twittering Machine inspired by a Paul Klee painting of the same name. The background manuscript for this poster is a 1686 Warrant for payment of L150, half year's allowance as poet laureate. Treasury Chambers, Whitehall taken from the James Marshall and MarieLouise Osborn Collection, Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library, Yale University.
