This high quality print is based on an original watercolour of the rose species entitled (on accompanying chromolithograph) Rosa dupontii (Rosa nivea (moschata × gallica)) and described in accompanying text as Rosa dupontii Déségl., by Alfred Parsons (1847-1920). Produced for Ellen Wilmott's The Genus Rosa (London: 1914), and bound into Volume I of the Lindley Library's Willmott copy of this work. [Bound in with Plate 13].
