One of America's most popular and respected artists, William Mangum is building a wide reputation among collectors of fine art. Mangum has painted professionally since graduating with both a Bachelor and a Masters degree in Fine Art from the University of North Carolina.
Mangum describes his style as "realistic expressionism" and, with it, covers an unlimited range of colour, moods and seasons. His masterful depth and absorbing use of contrast combine to create the startlingly effective tableaux for which he has become renowned on both sides of the Atlantic.
Mangum travels the world in search of inspiration, and has explored England, the Greek Islands, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Bermuda and Hong Kong, as well as his own vast country. His work has achieved such a level of demand that it has been published repeatedly, as limited edition prints, in an elegant book and within art appreciation magazines.
