Norman Rockwell Art Prints and Posters
Norman Percevel Rockwell (1894 –1978) was a 20th-century American painter and illustrator. His works enjoy a broad popular appeal in the United States for their reflection of American culture. He is most famous for the cover illustrations of everyday life he created for The Saturday Evening Post magazine for more than four decades.
Rockwell was a prolific artist, producing over 4,000 original works in his lifetime. He was commissioned to illustrate over 40 books including Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn, as well as illustrating calendars, booklets, catalogues, posters, sheet music, stamps and playing cards. He is called an "illustrator" instead of an artist by some critics, a designation he did not mind, as it was what he called himself.
