John Penney Art Prints and Posters
I have been producing and selling my paintings, and limited edition prints, for 25 years, both via exhibitions and local galleries, and also via my own Online Website Gallery. My paintings are in many private collections, both in the UK and other countries.
In September 2011 my painting "Flying Sensation" will be exhibitted in the London Bankside Gallery as part of the "London Lives- Travel" exhibition.
I paint in a style I would describe as Magical Realism, in that my images whilst being generally representational are often surrealistic in a dreamscape way. My paintings usually aim to have a narrative story element about them, with strong colour use, and often exaggerated perspective, all aimed at creating a strong sense of mood
