Florene was an interior decorator in New York before relocating to Southwest Florida in 1990. Her travels here and abroad are responsible for the wide and varied perspective of her work. She began to explore various techniques and discovered that the lens and all things that affected it, were to become her natural medium. Having done everything wrong with her first digital camera, she found some startling, pleasing results thus her career in unretouched lens art was born. Lately she has been dabbling in pastels . she also recently added digital painting though the lens remains her favorite way to express herself. She has won numerous awards for her art and buyers far and wide have begun collecting her originals.
