Christopher Corr Art Prints and Posters
Christopher Corr was born in Camden Town, London. He studied Graphic Design at Manchester University, before returning to the capital to complete a Masters in Illustration at the Royal College of Art. It was there that he won the RCA Drawing prize and was awarded a Leverhulme Scholarship to the USA.
Travel went on to influence much of Corr’s award winning work with his many trips becoming the subject of his art. In 1996 and 1997 he was made resident artist for the Airline, Quantas and was flown around the world to illustrate their routes and destinations. This work was exhibited in both London and Sydney. Corr was also commissioned by Royal Mail to create a set of Millennium stamps depicting UN Peace-Keeping troops in Bosnia.
Over the years, Corr has achieved critical acclaim for his work through an array of scholarships and awards. These include the Chelsea Arts Club Graphics Prize, a D&AD award an AOI Illustration Award and Print Magazine prizes.
More recently Corr has moved into illustrating books for children and adults, working with publishers in London, Paris and New York.
